We had our wedding here on January 17, 2026. We were initially nervous because we booked the venue without visiting beforehand, but once we arrived, we were completely blown away by how incredible our entire wedding week was. Hotel: The resort has around 80 rooms, giving it a small, intimate feel. With many of our guests staying on-site (we booked about 40 rooms), it was exactly the vibe we wanted. The property is beautiful, the food was some of the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive—especially at Tau Beach Club—and the drinks were strong and flavorful (not watered down). We also appreciated access to the sister resort, Velas Vallarta, for additional dining and activities. Dinner reservations are required but easy to get. The resort is adults-only and very peaceful (think relaxing by the beach, not rowdy day-drinking). Staff: The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Everyone was warm, accommodating, and made the resort feel like a community. Special shout-outs to Gerardo at Emiliano’s, Avalos poolside, Miguel at the front desk, Leslie at Tau Beach Club, and Andrea, the manager at Casa Velas. Pro tip: bring cash for tips! Wedding Experience: Absolutely amazing. The intimate size, excellent food, and outstanding staff set Casa Velas apart from other all-inclusive resorts we researched. One standout moment was when Miguel and the team organized a last-minute 20-person dinner for us at Emiliano’s, complete with a repeated fire show and surprise custom menu cards—completely unexpected and so thoughtful. Our ceremony at the beach club and garden reception were beautiful, intimate, and felt secluded from the rest of the resort. The open bar ran smoothly and efficiently, and Andrea generously upgraded us to a stunning suite with a private pool, which made for incredible photos. Although the resort is adults-only, the staff was very accommodating in allowing children and outside guests to attend our wedding day. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Casa Velas for both vacations and weddings.

Adults only. Its for couples young or senior. The service here is awesome and we did the trip through Costco .

A wonderful adult only resort that is phenomenal for couples or the solo traveler. Pool area is beautiful and the beach is a very short shuttle ride away. Food and beverage was fantastic and get a good value for the all inclusive deal. The rooms and amenities are also great.

Our company recently hosted our annual retreat at Casa Velas, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The hospitality, beauty, and tranquility of the resort made it the perfect setting for our team to connect and recharge. From the moment we arrived, the Casa Velas team made us feel so genuinely cared for. The grounds are breathtaking — lush gardens, peaceful pools, and elegant touches everywhere. It felt as though we had the resort entirely to ourselves, which made the experience even more intimate and special for our group. Dining at Emiliano was consistently exceptional — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Mealtimes quickly became one of our favorite parts of the day. We’re especially thankful for Andrea, the Group Manager, whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made coordinating our retreat an enjoyable and smooth process. From the early planning stages to our final day on property, she was responsive, thoughtful, and truly cared about ensuring everything came together beautifully. Her support made the entire experience feel effortless on our end. The staff at Casa Velas went above and beyond in every way — especially Omar, Jesús, Avalos, and Gerardo, whose kindness, generosity, and attention to detail made such an impression on our team. The relationships we built with them in such a short time were genuine and heartfelt. We also want to recognize Lauren and her team at Tau Beach Club, who greeted us with warmth and made every visit feel like a celebration. Their energy, love, and exceptional service elevated our entire experience — it was the perfect complement to the peaceful luxury of Casa Velas. Our time at Casa Velas and Tau Beach Club was truly one of a kind. Beyond the beautiful setting and outstanding food, it was the people who made it extraordinary. We left feeling deeply grateful and already dreaming of our return.
