Fabuloso en todo sentido.

We had our wedding here on January 17, 2026. We were initially nervous because we booked the venue without visiting beforehand, but once we arrived, we were completely blown away by how incredible our entire wedding week was. Hotel: The resort has around 80 rooms, giving it a small, intimate feel. With many of our guests staying on-site (we booked about 40 rooms), it was exactly the vibe we wanted. The property is beautiful, the food was some of the best we’ve had at an all-inclusive—especially at Tau Beach Club—and the drinks were strong and flavorful (not watered down). We also appreciated access to the sister resort, Velas Vallarta, for additional dining and activities. Dinner reservations are required but easy to get. The resort is adults-only and very peaceful (think relaxing by the beach, not rowdy day-drinking). Staff: The staff truly made the experience exceptional. Everyone was warm, accommodating, and made the resort feel like a community. Special shout-outs to Gerardo at Emiliano’s, Avalos poolside, Miguel at the front desk, Leslie at Tau Beach Club, and Andrea, the manager at Casa Velas. Pro tip: bring cash for tips! Wedding Experience: Absolutely amazing. The intimate size, excellent food, and outstanding staff set Casa Velas apart from other all-inclusive resorts we researched. One standout moment was when Miguel and the team organized a last-minute 20-person dinner for us at Emiliano’s, complete with a repeated fire show and surprise custom menu cards—completely unexpected and so thoughtful. Our ceremony at the beach club and garden reception were beautiful, intimate, and felt secluded from the rest of the resort. The open bar ran smoothly and efficiently, and Andrea generously upgraded us to a stunning suite with a private pool, which made for incredible photos. Although the resort is adults-only, the staff was very accommodating in allowing children and outside guests to attend our wedding day. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Casa Velas for both vacations and weddings.

Casa Velas Aug. 1-6, 2026 After numerous visits here, I must say it is the one consistent, simply the best, adults only, all inclusive resort in Puerto Vallarta. It is what I would call my second home. Casa Velas is a boutique resort with only 80 rooms surrounded by lush vegetation and a golf course. It is a tranquil experience, like being at an exclusive club. It is modern yet maintains the Mexican Hacienda charm. Our room was lovely, with a dining area perfect for room service meals or snacks in the living room, on the couch in front of big screen tv. It had a mini bar area with replenished daily drinks and snacks (even catering to your preferences, of which I do have). There is also a half bath downstairs for convenience. I love 2 bathrooms in a suite. Upstairs was out grand master bedroom, with TV, mini bar, and a huge bathroom with shower (big enough to have a party in, hehe) and on top of that an upstairs balcony with a jacuzzi and awesome tropic view. The bedding is amazing, pure luxury and the pillows to die for. Everything is top notch luxury. On the main level are sliding doors to outside terrace and our own private plunge pool. I have yet to find suites in Puerto Vallarta that compare to this. The grounds are maintained meticulously and very lush. Just stunning. The lobby is a very serene intimate place with couches, chairs, candles and just a very luxe, homey atmosphere. The onsite pool is stunning with a palapa swim up bar and yes, it is heated. No problem getting a lounge chair or cabana here. The poolside eats and drinks just delicious and so much more than most AI resorts offer. While Casa Velas is not on the ocean you can enjoy the private beach club on the ocean just minutes away, which has a pool, ocean and restaurant, all with service. As an aside you have many options to enjoy. The restaurant, Emiliano’s onsite, the TAU beach club or all of the sister resort offerings, Velas Vallarta. We wanted to revisit the beach club but alas never got to, more on that in a bit. Emiliano’s restaurant is fantastic. Intimidate, luxurious, yet homey. Menu changes often. Servers are friendly and helpful. Frankly they go above and beyond. They remember your likes and dislikes after day one. No better special service can be found. Dining inside with AC or outside, by the Koi pond with pool just beyond, both are just lovely. Every meal we had was delicious and served to perfection. I wish to send out a huge thank you to all the staff including housekeeping (rooms and such are meticulously clean}. I especially thank Miguel, our personal concierge. Sadly, first my husband came down with a respiratory infection, so we spent the day in the room or bed. Then following him by a day or two was my turn for the respiratory cold what have you, another day in the room. I might say, if you are on vacation and life happens such as a minor issue this is the place to be. They catered to us with chicken soup, room service and many other requests. Since we drive, they even offered to extend our stay if necessary. We had commitments in Guadalajara so that was not possible. I feel sad we missed out on a minimum of 2 days but we were well tended to. The friendly staff, the tranquil environment, cleanliness, delicious food and just the feeling of resetting yourself while being pampered has brought us back year after year. We plan to continue that and hope to get back there before a whole year to make up for what our bodies dealt us, despite the best attention and care ever. How grateful we feel to be able to visit such a beautiful place and wish everyone could do so. It is a must have for anyone wanting tranquility and pampering.

Adults only. Its for couples young or senior. The service here is awesome and we did the trip through Costco .
