Velas Resorts Debuts “Recapturing Your Serenity” Wellness Experiences
New Wellness Offerings Range from Dedicated Concierge Services and Guided Meditations to Ancestral Workshops and Gratitude Rituals
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (July 30, 2026) - Velas Resorts in Mexico announce Recapturing Your Serenity, a new collection of wellness-focused experiences designed to help guests slow down, reconnect, and restore balance. On the heels of the resorts' annual Wellnessing Getaways where both international and Mexican authorities in the space lead a multi-day schedule of themed activities and events, several of the hotels are expanding their offerings for travelers visiting throughout the year. Spanning Grand Velas Riviera Maya, Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit, Casa Velas, Velas Vallarta, and Mar del Cabo, each offering reflects the destination and personality of its property while sharing a common intention: to give guests the space to pause and simply be.
Grand Velas Riviera Maya introduces a curated wellness catalog allowing guests to personalize their path to restoration through innovative rituals, new workshops, restorative treatments rooted in Mayan healing traditions, and instructor-led activities. New offerings include the Ceremony of Gratitude, a reflective ritual paired with live music and guided meditation, the Circular Economy Workshop, which guides guests through creating their own natural exfoliators, and the Sabiduría Ancestral Workshop, which centers on crafting herbal bundles for energy cleansing. Additional offerings range from floating meditations with Tibetan bowls, tribal sound baths, ice baths with guided breathwork, and classes such as yoga, pilates, barre, and functional training. All experiences can be booked individually or as a complete package. The Recapturing Your Serenity package starts from $4,335 USD per person based on double occupancy, which also includes accommodations for three nights in a Zen Grand suite.
Recapturing Your Serenity at Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit weaves the resort's wellness infrastructure into a trinity of Body, Mind, and Spirit, beginning with a private airport transfer, a digital device fast, and a complimentary neck and shoulder welcome massage on arrival. The Spirit stage opens in the guest's suite with an In-Suite Aromatherapy Session to select a signature essence for the stay. The Body stage features classes such as Hatha Yoga, aerial yoga, pilates, and restorative sound therapy. The Mind stage culminates at the SE Spa with a Water Ceremony thermal circuit followed by a Sleep Therapy Treatment using a SNOOZ white noise machine with customized aroma, acupressure, and reflexology. Recapturing Your Serenity at Casa Velas is centered on three pillars: Restore, Reconnect, and Renew. Restore offers an 80-minute Therapeutic Massage combining lymphatic drainage, reflexology, acupressure, shiatsu, and stretching. Reconnect provides a private, 60-minute beachside sound healing session. Renew includes a guided meditation and Hatha yoga session at the Botanical Garden, a hands-on herbal tea ritual, and a restorative yoga practice. The experience also includes a curated pillow menu and in-suite aromatherapy. The Recapturing Your Serenity experience starts from $806 USD. Nightly rates are additional.
Velas Vallarta offers a Recapturing Your Serenity retreat in a private one-bedroom suite, including a 55-minute Aromatherapy Treatment at the spa or on the oceanfront jetty, a dedicated photoshoot to capture one's essence in the moment, roundtrip transportation, and a jungle excursion with zip lines, tequila tasting, and a crossing of the Jorullo Bridge. Flexible check-in and check-out extend the retreat, and the all-inclusive plan covers the resort's full culinary, recreational, and wellness offerings. The retreat starts from $1,497 USD for three nights in a one-bedroom suite in single occupancy.
At Mar del Cabo, Recapturing Your Serenity takes shape through creative autonomy. Guests can select at least four curated inclusions to build their own restorative stay. Options include morning suite service, journaling or meditation on the terrace, a Farm-to-Table cooking class, and a beachside signature massage. Additional options include a tequila, mezcal, or craft beer tasting, a sunset picnic, a table for one dinner by Executive Chef Oscar Morales, a pasta and paint experience, a curated day in San José del Cabo or Cabo San Lucas, and a nighttime tea and snacks amenity.
