Mexico's "Beyond All-Inclusive, Beyond All Compare" Casa Velas expands its "Handbag Bar" to 13 designer handbags, inclusive of a "murse," or man-purse, from Mont Blanc. On loan for guests to enjoy complimentary, designer offerings range from Purificación Garcia and BCBG Maxazria to Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, and Pineda Covalin, often called the Hermes of Mexico. Complimentary accessory rental doesn't end at Casa Velas. Guests can also rent a "rock" through the resort's diamond and high-end jewelry for rental program in cooperation with Diamonds International. Rings are offered in sizes ranging from .5 to 8 carats with rental for the evening ranging from $200 to $10,000. One of the offerings is a yellow canary diamond, radiant cut, with a center stone of close to 4 carats and surrounded by 1.25 carats, all in white gold. The rental of this piece is $2,000. Necklaces and bracelets, both diamonds and precious gemstones, are also offered for purchase. Reservations for jewelry need to be made 48 hours in advance.
