We returned to Casa Velas for the 2nd year in a row & we were even more happy with our stay this time! It s the most quiet & peaceful resort we have ever stayed at. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway, this is the place to go! The grounds & accommodations are beautiful & the staff could not be more helpful and pleasant! We will be back at Casa Velas again!

A Honeymoon Well Spent
We spent our honeymoon here and couldn't have been happier. Everything from the staff to the bathroom cleanliness was excellent. The food was delicious, the pool and beach club were gorgeous, and the service was incredible. We also used the spa for a couples treatment and were dazzled by the amenities and staff. The location and security were also fantastic. Very close to the marina and it's nightlife, while being only a short drive from the central Puerto Vallarta boardwalk. Finally, the on-site activities were a joy. Each night there was a new theme (e.g. a "Cuba" night, a casino night, etc.) and we loved them all. It was a truly wonderful experience and I wouldn't recommend staying anywhere else.

TRAYECTORIA EMPRESARIAL
Inició su carrera empresarial en 1977 con la creación de diferentes empresas relacionadas con la industria de la construcción; en 1993 constituye la empresa principal en este rubro: Construcciones Aryve, S. A. de C.V., dedicada al levantamiento de desarrollos inmobiliarios. En 1997 crea una nueva empresa denominada Grupo Velas División Construcción, S.A. de C.V. enfocada principalmente al segmento residencial.
SECTOR TURÍSTICO
En el año de 1989, incursiona en el sector hotelero mediante la creación de la empresa Promotora Turística Las Velas S.A. de C.V., en la cual fungió como administrador único y accionista mayoritario. Para 2008 esta empresa se fusiona con Promotora Turística Punta Bete, S.A. de C.V. dedicada a la promoción y construcción de desarrollos turísticos, en la cual, siendo administrador único y principal accionista, Eduardo José Vela Ruizha construido y operado los siguientes hoteles:
• Velas Vallarta (1989 - Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco) con 345 suites.
• Grand Velas Riviera Nayarit (2002 – Nuevo Vallarta, Nayarit) con 272 suites.
• Casa Velas (2005 – Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco) con 80 suites.
• Grand Velas Riviera Maya (2008 – Riviera Maya, Q. Roo) con 492 suites.
De acuerdo con un artículo publicado en 2013 por la revista Forbes, Eduardo Vela Ruiz es considerado uno de los inversionistas más importantes en el marco del turismo mexicano y figura entre los líderes hoteleros con mayor influencia en el país.
