Mahjong Meets Mexican Sparkling Wine for a New Social Hour at the Luxury Adults-Only Hotel in Puerto Vallarta

Mahjong is experiencing a massive resurgence with local clubs, backyard groups, and trendy pop-ups from coast to coast filling up with new players learning the strategic tile game. The new experience for Casa Velas' hotel guests pairs the strategy and tradition of Mahjong within a relaxed, social atmosphere for a community connection opportunity at the hotel. Each game lasts approximately 30 to 40 minutes and is designed for four players, with a minimum of two participants required to start. Guests will receive a simple instruction guide to help them learn the game and the hotel's team, fluent in the game rules and strategies, are available for any questions. As part of the experience, guests can enjoy sparkling wine cocktails like a Hugo Spritz and  French 75 or opt for a glass of Mexican sparkling wine. 

Bubbles & Bams (a term associated with Mahjong) launches in October and will be held on the Lobby Terrace every Tuesday and Thursday evening. Outside of these scheduled sessions, the Mahjong game will also be available for guests to enjoy at their leisure during their free time. Beyond the game and its cocktails, the Lobby Terrace offers a premium bar and live music, setting the scene for guests to unwind by the pool before dinner or ease into the evening afterward.
