Amazing service and wonderful amenities.
Casa Velas is another facet of the Velas Resorts in Puerto Vallarta. This one is definitely more couples and adults only. Amazing gardens and water features. There is no other resort that features outstanding service at all levels like they do at Casa Velas! Every single food option is well thought out and provides for a variety of tastes. You need to remember to let them serve you! It is in believable the way that they provide thoughtful service to meet everyone of your needs!

Summer in Puerto Vallarta: Music and festival guide

Celebrate the arts and culture of Puerto Vallarta at the many exciting festivals, events, and fiestas happening all summer long. Although summer is typically Puerto Vallarta's low season, summertime travel is on the rise. Avoid the crowds and experience this seaside gem between June and September and fall in love with the stunning natural beauty and fun things to do during summer. You'll also get the best deals and special offers to sweeten the deal. If you're planning the ultimate summer vacation in paradise, check out our music and festival guide in Puerto Vallarta to get the party started.

If you are visiting Puerto Vallarta in June, expect mild weather and plenty of fun. Navy Day (El Día de la Marina) is celebrated in all of Mexico's port towns on June 1st; commemorating men and women who have participated in naval service of past and present. The morning festivities begin with boats launching into Banderas Bay for a flower wreath ceremony on the water. It is then followed by festivities and tournaments at sea, along with celebrations on the beaches and docks, and dancing into the night.

July in Puerto Vallarta may be the start of the rainy season, but that doesn't put a damper on any of the fun. The Banderas Bay Fishing Tournament, an international marlin, and tuna fishing competition, is held annually at the Paradise Village Marina. This two-day event is open to all and brings in crowds to cheer on the fishermen.

The NIIJIMA Mexican Surf Open is also in July, a three-day surf competition at the main beach in San Pancho. Anyone can participate, and the winning prize is 100,000 pesos. The surf competition is accompanied by live music and DJs, beach volleyball, beer pong, and beachside entertainment.

Head to Puerto Vallarta this August for the Punta Mita Beach Festival, a two-day festival at Kupuri Beach Club offering plenty of water activities like windsurfing, paddleboarding, and more. Enjoy upscale beach bites, and creative cocktails from 9 am to 8 pm on August 2 and 3, 2019.

If heading to Puerto Vallarta in September, make sure to check out National Charro Day celebrated every year on September 14. Festivities begin with charros, Mexican cowboys, horseback riding down the streets, with live music and entertainment, followed by a parade down the Malecon and ending with a street party, lasso tournament, mariachi, and dancing.

It is always a party on Mexican Independence Day, a two-day festival on September 15 and 16th. Enjoy music, fireworks, food, and parades with non-stop mariachi and authentic Mexican cuisine. The country's biggest party goes well into the night and is followed by a huge military parade through town.
