This was our first all inclusive. We have traveled all over Mexico for years but had not been in Puerto Vallarta in over 30 years. We needed a quick break and booked in for nearly two weeks. The room was beautifully appointed with a nice patio. The pool was spacious and comfortable, and we also enjoyed the beach club which provided comfy chairs on the beach or around another pool. The service was top notch everywhere and the food at the various venues was very good

We have been to a lot of places, a lot of resorts. Casa Velas ranks at the top. This all adult small and quiet hotel for the mostly 40 and over crowd caters to you in every way. Consistantly .From the manicured grounds, to the spacious and spotless rooms, to the excellent fresh foods, to the attentive service, it never disappoints. They go out of their way to do whatever they can to make you happy. This hotel consisits of two properties about a ten minute walk or three minute shuttle ride apart. The Beach Club is a lovely breezy area to soak up the sun and sand. Although the ocean water is a bit rough, not very conducive to swimming and the undertow is strong, it is still very beautiful. The swimming pool makes up where the ocean is lacking. All manner of water sports is available from vendors, and the hawkers trying to sell silver jewlerey are plentiful but not obnoxious. You need never to fight for a lounge chair or cabana. One can get a great 20 minute massage on the beach for $20. The drinks are plentiful the food is delicious. The sister hotels are available for your dinner reservations and are as equally fine. One is very close, and full of kids, and the other is a twenty minute shuttle ride but worth the effort. They will pick you up at an arranged time. On the negative side, the hotel pool water was too warm to be refreshing, but other than that, I can't think of any other way to improve Casa Velas

The best stay we’ve ever experienced. What a wonderful, warming, and welcoming staff! We’ve never been treated so nice. Resort has a great dining area, pool with bar, full gym, boutique, spa, and golf course. Staying at Casa Velas gives you full access to their private full service Beach Club with breathtaking sunset views. Everyone there was wonderful but here’s some staff that really go above and beyond to make your experience truly memorable; Bellhops Christian & Angel are the best, Luz at the front desk and Rogelio at the concierge services were both extremely helpful, Alfredo made sure our dining experiences at Casa Velas were perfect, and a special thank you to Daniel and Gerardo at the Beach Club a duo who made our time there the absolutely best

The Hotel is immaculate, the staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful. They take great pride in their Hotel and make sure the guests are very much welcomed. I cannot overstate how welcome we felt and how polite all of the staff were. We will be returning very soon. The meals were perfection. The pool is heated and swimming up to the Tiki bar with Fred willing to make you anything you desire was awesome. There is music each night and an activity. All inclusive and no children, to die for
